Several Accidents During Morning Commute In OKC

Wet roads caused some traffic headaches during the rush hour Friday morning.

An accident that backed up traffic several miles along Lake Hefner Parkway eastbound, just north of I-44 is now clear. That accident involved five vehicles.

Another accident that involved nine vehicles on 39th Street Expressway near Lake Hefner Parkway and I-44 is also clear.

A third crash is reported at I-40 and I-44 reportedly involving a semi and two cars. No word yet on the extent of injuries in any of the accidents.
