Oklahoma City police are on the lookout for a man who shot an older southwest Oklahoma City man during a carjacking Wednesday night.

The 76-year-old man is truly luck to be alive, especially since his attacker shot him in the head. Luckily the bullet only grazed his temple.

News 9 caught up with Bob Hussey Thursday after he made it home from the hospital. He is left with a cut and a badly bruised eye, but otherwise, he's fine.

Hussey says he came home late Wednesday night after staying late at work and as he was gathering his things out of his truck a man came out of nowhere, attacked him in his driveway and took his F-250 pickup.

The attack happened despite the fact that Hussey is part of the neighborhood watch, and even has surveillance cameras outside his house, in the 700 block of SW 40th St.

"You know they say if it bleeds good then it will heal fast so I hope the heck that heals fast," said Hussey.

Police found Hussey's truck not far away, parked in the driveway of this abandoned home near SW 25th and McKinley, but the man who took it is yet to be found.
