A pastor told police he walked into his northwest Oklahoma City church one Sunday night and discovered a man stealing several items from the house of worship.

Members of Harvest For Souls Church on N. Portland Avenue north of N.W. 23rd Street called the pastor around 10:40 p.m. August 26 when they noticed the glass front door to the church was broken.

When the pastor walked in, he found a man inside who claimed he was cleaning the building. The pastor said he'd never seen the man and didn't give him permission to enter the church. The pastor went out into the parking lot and called 911.

Officers arrived and arrested a suspect identified as 52-year-old Dana Ivan Bradshaw of Oklahoma City. When police searched the building, they found the back door open with food and cleaning supplies stacked next to it.

Officers booked Bradshaw into the Oklahoma County jail on one count of second-degree burglary.
