Former Millwood Schools Teacher In Court On Rape Charges

A former teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with an underage student waives his right to a preliminary hearing.

Eric Harris, 37, is charged with six felony counts including oral sodomy, second degree rape and lewd acts with a child. Harris was a teacher at the Millwood Freshman Academy in Oklahoma City. He has since resigned.

According to the sheriff's department, administrative staff with Millwood Public Schools notified deputies of the alleged abuse back in May after a student reported an inappropriate relationship between Harris and another 15-year old female student. The student told investigators that Harris reportedly met with her on three different occasions for oral sex.

A judge set his bond at $250,000.
