The Oklahoma City RedHawks barely had to swing the bat in order to get a win Friday night.

After over four hours of baseball, the RedHawks loaded the bases in the bottom of the 12th inning on two hit batters and a walk, before relief pitcher Brian Bass knocked an RBI single, scoring Jose Martinez to give OKC a 3-2 win over the Fresno Grizzlies.

Bass got the win for OKC, while Clayton Tanner took the loss for the Grizzlies.

The RedHawks went 5-for-12 with runners in scoring position and left 12 runners on base. On the flip side, Fresno didn't get a hit in 18 at-bats with runners in scoring position and left 14 runners on base.

OKC scored two runs in the bottom of the third to open up a 2-0 lead on the Grizzlies. Fresno countered by scoring a run in the sixth inning, on a solo home run by Xavier Nady. They tied the score in the top of the seventh inning on an RBI groundout by Francisco Peguero.

From there, it was a defensive stalemate until Bass' heroics in the 12th inning.

The RedHawks take to the road to take on Round Rock in a four-game series beginning Saturday night at 6:05 p.m.
