OKLAHOMA CITY - UPDATE TO THIS STORY ON AUGUST 6, 2018:
The rape charge against Crigler was amended to be outraging public decency, for which he was sentenced to one year in county jail with credit for time served.

Oklahoma City police arrest a man for allegedly raping a woman he found lying in Bricktown.

The woman told police the last thing she remembered before waking up at 46-year-old Terry Crigler's home was falling over after being kicked out of a club.

She says when she woke up she didn't know where she was so she went across the street and used a neighbor's cell phone to call for help.

Police say Crigler said he was afraid for the woman's safety, but could not explain why he brought her to his home.

Crigler is a substitute teacher in the Putnam City school district.
