Stop me if you've heard this before: The RedHawks lost.

OKC's offense once again stalled Sunday night as the RedHawks lost 3-1 to Sacramento, loss number nine in a row.

OKC's lone run came in the bottom of the fourth when Matt Downs hit his first homer of the season.

Trailing 2-1, things got interesting in the bottom of the eighth when the RedHawks loaded the bases with just one out. Brad Snyder hit what looked like a sacrifice fly to center, but Jermaine Mitchell gunned down Brian Bixler at the plate to keep his River Cats on top.

Ross Seaton took the loss but pitched well for OKC, going seven strong innings and allowing just one earned run. Tyson Ross got the win for Sacramento, allowing one earned run in five innings.

After a stellar first half of the season, Oklahoma City treaded water for a bit to start the second half, going 11-11 through its first 22 games. But lately, the performance has gone from mediocre to bad, and the team will need to turn it around fast if it wants to chase down Albuquerque for the division title.

The four-game series concludes with Sacramento Monday night at 7:05 p.m. in Bricktown.
