Grass Fire Near Wellston Under Control

Firefighters have contained a grass fire five miles southeast of Wellston.

The fire began just after noon Friday. Lincoln County Emergency Management says structures in the area are in danger, but that does not include any homes or businesses.

There were outbuildings and sheds in the path of the flames, but there were no reports of damage.
