OSU's Jurick Charged With Misdemeanor Drug Possession

Oklahoma State basketball player Philip Jurick was arrested in Stillwater on Saturday after complaints about drug possession and possession of drug-related paraphernalia.

As first reported by the Tulsa World, Jurick was taken into custody following Saturday's team scrimmage and was released early Sunday morning on his own recognizance.

The 6-foot-11 rising senior averaged 1.6 points and 4.9 rebounds as a part-time starter last season before being hampered by a torn left Achilles. He was also second on the team in blocked shots after transferring from Chattanooga State (JUCO).
