According to an arrest warrant, witnesses saw Stevens arguing with 23-year-old Amadeus Jackson, also known as K-1, and 22-year-old Quante Shelton, also known as T.C.

Witnesses told police Jackson had a gun when he and Shelton approached Stevens while he was sitting on his porch. One witness said it appeared the men were going to rob Stevens.

Stevens was heard yelling, "Get your hands off me," and telling one of the suspects to put down the gun. A witness said at one point, Shelton had the gun, but Stevens managed to get Jackson in a chokehold and use his body to block the weapon.

The witness said Jackson freed himself, and Shelton shot Stevens. The two men then ran off. When someone ran to help Stevens, he told them Jackson is the one who shot him.

Police are searching for both Jackson and Shelton. If you know where they are, call 911 or the Homicide Tip Line at (405) 297-1200.
