Tulsa Police: Teen Arrested For Robbing Store With BB Gun

An 18-year-old Broken Arrow man is behind bars after police said he robbed a Tulsa convenience store by pointing a BB gun at the clerk early Sunday.

According to a police booking report, Lamont Shaw was tracked to the 4400 block of West Oakland Avenue in Broken Arrow, where he was identified by the store's clerk.

Shaw was also seen on video surveillance pointing the BB gun at the clerk and taking money, the report said.

The crime occurred at 1:15 a.m. at the Kum and Go at 11296 E. 71st Street in Tulsa and Shaw was arrested three hours later in Broken Arrow.

He was booked on a robbery with firearm/dangerous weapon and is being held at the Tulsa County jail on $50,000 bond.
