Oklahoma City police have identified a man whose body was found early Sunday morning near S.W. 34th Street and Robinson.
Police say 38-year-old Alejandro Cortez was struck by a vehicle just around 12: 30 a.m. on July 15. The driver left the scene and Cortez's body was left lying in the roadway.
Although police know Cortez was hit by a car, they aren't sure if he was killed as a result of the collision, or by something else. The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner is performing an autopsy to determine exactly how Cortez died.
Anyone with information about Cortez's death is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
