RedHawks Smashed By Zephyrs 8-0

Kevin Mattison's three-run homer in the fifth inning Saturday night helped the New Orleans Zephyrs blow out the Oklahoma City RedHawks 8-0. 

New Orleans already led 2-0 when Mattison crushed a pitch from OKC's Armando Galarraga over the right field fence. 

The Zephyrs added three more runs in the seventh when Luke Montz hit a bases-clearing double to left field. 

Elih Vilanueva pitched six shutout innings to lead New Orleans, earning his sixth win of the season. 

The RedHawks finish the four-game series with New Orleans Sunday evening at 6 p.m.  Sunday's game also marks the final game in a string of nine straight against the Zephyrs.
