Police are investigating the alleged rape of a 15-year-old girl in Oklahoma City.

The victim's mother called police after her daughter told her she had been attacked. According to the police report, the victim said she went out for a run at 11:35 p.m. on June 30. She said she was running east on N. 56th Street when she was knocked out.

The girl said she remembers waking up at N. 56th Street and Tulsa Avenue "by the park and the tennis courts close to a big hill." However, officers say they did not find a scene at that location.

According to police, the girl stated her bra was unclasped when she woke up, and her shorts were rolled up "like a diaper."

The victim's mother took the victim to Deaconess Hospital as soon as she returned home.

The victim said she did not see anyone follow her when she was running. Police then asked her if she had any pains in her genital area, and she said she was "sore all over," and that she was hurting on her inner thighs.

Medical staff at the hospital also told police that the victim had a contusion and abrasions on the back of her head.

Officers say they saw scratch marks on the victim's back and her left arm. The girl told officers she also had scratch marks on her thighs. Police Captain Dexter Nelson says there were obvious signs of a sexual assault.

"She had definite signs on her body and clothing that a sexual assault took place," Nelson said.

The victim was taken to the Midwest Regional Hospital to take a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) exam.

The victim didn't give any suspect description.
