An Oklahoma County judge set a $4,000 bond Thursday for a man accused of targeting four black teenagers in Edmond.

Prosecutors charged 31-year-old James Brian Roper with assault and battery based on race. Police said Roper tried to run down the teens with his car, then chased the boys and assaulted one.

Roper told News 9 he didn't do anything wrong, and that he chased the teens after he saw them trying to break into a house.
