OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City police are investigating a shooting along Lake Hefner Parkway Monday night.

Officers responded to the call of a shooting at Interstate 44 and Lake Hefner Parkway at around 8:30 p.m. Monday.

The victim is not injured. She told police she was heading north towards Lake Hefner when someone fired shots at her from a blue Dodge Durango.

"Officers responded to reports of vehicles chasing each other on I-44 highway approaching N.W.39th Street," Lt. Isaac Goodman said.

Officers say the suspect had crashed his vehicle when they arrived. Witnesses say there were two people in that vehicle, and they both tried to run away.

"One of the vehicles involved rolled off the edge of the roadway, and overturned. One person remained on the scene, and another fled on foot and was apprehended," said Goodman. "The person that fled on scene had a firearm with him, which is also in custody."

Police say the driver of the Durango did not have a driver's license.
