The Salvation Army Central Oklahoma Area Command's Boys & Girls Club will host the second Annual Football Camp from July 9 to July 12. Metro children ages between 9 to 18 will be able to participate in the camp for free.

Hosted by "Students with Integrity, Fundamentals and Tenacity" (SWIFT,) the football camp will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each day at the Salvation Army's Boys & Girls Club, located at 2808 S.E. 44th Street in Oklahoma City.

According to officials with the Salvation Army, this event features celebrity coaches, including former University of Oklahoma cornerback Mike Woods, former OU wide receiver Quentin Chaney, former OU linebacker Rufus Alexander, former University of Tulsa running back Tarrion Adams and former TU fullback Cody Madison.

"This camp is a fun week for youth interested in football, but it offers so much more," said Coach Mosely. "Yes, they will run drills and learn technique, but S.W.I.F.T will also show them the importance of character in sports."

Registration for the free football camp begins Monday, June 25. Spots are limited to 150, organizers said.

To register for the camp, call Myron Mosely at 405-677-4781, Ext. 106.
