It isn't the kind of hangover Thunder fans wanted as we all hoped for one or two more games back here at home. But still, businesses and fans are "Thundering Up" no matter what.

It isn't the kind of hangover Thunder fans wanted as we all hoped for one or two more games back here at home. But still, businesses and fans are "Thundering Up" no matter what.

"It is a little somber today. It wasn't quite as easy to get out of bed today knowing that it's all over," said Tapwerks General Manager, Greg Powell.

Powell says Having OKC in the finals tripled sales.

"The fact that we won't have that added business from the last two days that hurts too, but I think it hurts way worse to see them lose," Powell said.

But there are no tears in the beers at Tapwerks or anywhere News 9 went in OKC.

"We love our Thunder! We are so excited to have a team here. It's great. We love ‘em. It's great for Oklahoma and we're on the map," said Thunder fan, Darlene Bechtold.

Thunder T-shirts and tents are open for business, and everything's half off.

"Unfortunately, we don't have championship shirts," said Thunder tent operator, Michelle Rodriguez.

Rodriguez says coming from Chicago to sell Thunder gear was a gamble.

"Fans aren't as excited [in Chicago] as they are here, that's what I've seen," Rodriguez.

Bricktown businesses say they're lucky to have so many good teams and fans in Oklahoma City. Friday night they're expecting a big crowd for the Thunder homecoming, but also the Redhawks game as well.
