The Oklahoma City RedHawks opened a four-game home stand against Round Rock with a big 10-6 win behind a big performance by Brandon Barnes.

Barnes wasted no time getting things started with a leadoff double to left. Two batters later, Scott Moore sent a grounder to right to score Barnes and take a 1-0 lead.

The second frame was even more productive for the RedHawks than the first. With two on and one out, Barnes' firepower continued when he blasted a home run to left scoring three and putting OKC in control at 4-0.

Round Walk quickly loaded the bases thanks to two singles and a walk. That set up Yangervis Solarte who sent a sacrifice fly to center scoring Brad Nelson to cut the score to 4-1.

A passed ball allowed Peredes to advance to third, putting him in scoring position as Scott Moore stepped to the plate. Moore made contact sending a ground ball to right to bring in Paredes and extend the RedHawks lead to 5-1.

Barnes notched his third hit of the ninth in the sixth to score Jake Goebbert making it 6-1. With two outs and three runners on, Oklahoma City's Mike Hessman singled to score two runs increasing the lead to an 8-1 margin.

Round Rock found rhythm and got back into the game thanks to productive innings in the seventh and eighth.
