Thunder Girls Give Back By Reading To Kids

Thunder basketball stars aren't the only ones giving back to the community.

On Thursday, some of the Thunder Girls read to some very special students. The Hearts for Hearing program offers a week-long program for kids with hearing disabilities. The teachers say it is a big treat for students to get to meet Thunder celebrities.

The students also got to ask the Thunder Girls some questions before Thursday night's big game. Teachers say the interaction between students and celebrities like the Thunder Girls helps the kids with communication and conversation skills.
