Charges Filed Against Millwood Teacher Accused Of Having Sex With Student
OKLAHOMA CITY - Prosecutors filed charges on a teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with his student.
We first told you back in May. Oklahoma County Sheriffs' deputies arrested the Millwood teacher and coach after another student reported the inappropriate relationship to school officials.
The details listed in the court documents are very graphic and depict at least four different times the former Millwood teacher allegedly engaged in sexual acts with one of his students.
Eric Harris is now charged with several sex crimes including four counts of forcible oral sodomy, one count of rape by instrumentation, and lewd acts with a child.
Court documents show the victim told investigators the relationship began when Harris asked the girl to give him her number. Harris allegedly then texted and asked for a picture. The victim says when she sent one fully-clothed. Harris was disappointed and asked for naked pictures.
The student told investigators after that, Harris reportedly met with her on three different occasions for oral sex.
Following his arrest in May, Millwood School officials responded to the allegations against the former 9th grade math teacher, basketball and baseball coach at Millwood Freshman Academy.
"He was remorseful, he has resigned, he is no longer on payroll, and the taxpayers will not be providing him with additional salary," a school official stated.
Investigators have said they do not believe any other students were involved with Harris prior to his arrest.
Harris is currently in the Oklahoma County Jail. He is expected to appear before the judge for arraignment on Monday.
