Edmond Swimming Pool Contractor Charged With Embezzlement

An Edmond swimming pool contractor is charged with embezzling homeowners.

Gary Robert Oester, 55, of Edmond was charged with six counts of embezzlement. The charges were filed on Wednesday in Oklahoma County District Court.

Oester owns Indigo Custom Pools. According to the charges against him, Oester allegedly signed contracts and accepted partial payments to install or repair swimming pools for homeowners located in Oklahoma, Canadian and Cleveland counties. THomeowners were allegedly given completion dates and a few were promised refunds. One homeowner reportedly received a partial refund.

The charges were filed following an investigation by the Oklahoma Attorney General's Public Protection Unit.
