Crash In Midwest City Slows Morning Traffic

Police and emergency medical crews rushed to the scene of a crash early Thursday morning in Midwest City near N.E. 23rd Street and Sooner Road.

Around 6:30 a.m., a car traveling west on N.E. 23rd Street crossed the center of the road and slammed into another vehicle. Both cars were heavily damaged, but the people involved in the collision sustained only minor injuries.

Traffic was diverted while crews cleaned up the wreckage. Investigators are trying to determine what caused the crash.
