OKC Police Arrest Second Suspect In Homeless Man's Murder

Police have arrested a woman suspected of killing a homeless man in Oklahoma City in August 2011.

Police have arrested a woman suspected of killing a homeless man in Oklahoma City in August 2011.

On Tuesday, April 24, the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Warrant Team captured  48-year-old Edie Michelle Johnson, the second suspect in the case. She was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of first-degree murder.

Johnson is accused in the killing of Javier Escarcega. Escarcega's body was found August 20, 2011, behind a warehouse in the 1300 block of W. Reno. Investigators determined he'd been beaten to death.

Two days later, police arrested 43-year-old Robert Redbone. He was charged with first-degree murder.
