A high-speed police pursuit ended with the arrest of one person in northeast Oklahoma City Friday afternoon.

According to the police, the pursuit started just before 4:30 p.m. Friday, on Broadway Extension and ended near Sooner Road and Wilshire Boulevard.

Police put down stop sticks. The suspect, Frank Haynes, stopped his car right before he got to them. He was surrounded by police officers and taken into custody.

According to police, Arcadia police asked Oklahoma City officers to help catch Haynes at Britton and Eastern. Haynes was accused of assaulting his grandmother earlier at a Taco Mayo in Arcadia.
