A mere five months after Oklahoma wide receiver Ryan Broyles tore his ACL in the third quarter of the Sooners game against Texas A&M  he was back on the field showcasing his skills.

Thursday morning  Broyles hosted his own Pro Day in Norman and worked out his repaired left knee in front of NFL scouts with hopes of improving his draft stock.

"I feel like today I showed up and showed I've been working hard. I have definitely been timing well. The scouts said the same thing," said Broyles.

The NCAA career receptions leader performed for 12 NFL scouts in attendance and from the mutterings in the crowd they seemed impressed with his numbers.

Broyles weighed in at 188 pounds and worked out for about 35 minutes recording a vertical time of 32.5 inches.

He ran the 40-yard dash two times with his best attempt clocked at 4.57 seconds.

"They don't expect me to be full speed and I don't expect the same," added Broyles when asked about his 40-yard dash time. "Being competitive, I wish it was in the 4.3 range. That's not the scenario. It just shows that I am working hard. I am getting my lateral movement back as well."

After running the dash, Broyles ran routes and caught passes for the NFL scouts.

"I wanted to keep going. I have been working for months doing all my routes. So for them to cut it short shows that they have respect for me as a ball catcher. I have been working for it," added Broyles. "I have been working hard these past few months just to show that I am a competitor. I am going to compete. I am going to be ready for camp. I am on my way."

Broyles completed his senior season for the Sooners with 83 catches, 1,157 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

The 2012 NFL draft is set for April 26-28 in New York City.

After his Pro Day, Broyles thanked all his fans and friends via his Twitter account saying, "Thank you all for your support and prayers! God is good! One step closer to living my dreams!"

Scouts from the following teams were in attendance for Broyles' workout: Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Giants, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee Titans.
