MOORE, Okla. - The death of 44-year-old Bill Cooksey has turned into a bigger mystery by the day.

Cooksey was found Monday in the driveway of the duplex he shared with his parents on the 1400 block of Sequoyah Ave. Police say Cooksey's mother made the discovery and called them.  His body was naked and showed signs of trauma, according to investigators.

Cooksey's family members were spotted Wednesday cleaning up the blood left behind. They are convinced he was murdered.

Moore Police are calling the case a "suspicious death" and say they won't know the exact cause until it's released by the medical examiner.

"This could be something other than a deliberate intent to kill him," says Lt. Ted Belling with the Moore Police Dept.

Cooksey's wife has been interviewed by police, but she tells News 9 she has no idea what happened to her husband and actually left the home she and Bill shared for work Monday morning without any clue that he had died.

Neighbors says they heard yelling coming from the home the night before Cooksey was found and Moore Police tell News 9 they have responded to the home before for domestic problems.

Meanwhile, neighbors are worried about their safety after Monday's gruesome discovery and upset with the lack of answers from police.

"It's kind of frustrating, because I have a little girl. The whole thing is kind of weird," says Neighbor Melissa Vick.

Cooksey's friends plan to meet Sunday to pay tribute to Bill and also raise money for his family.
