Fallen Crane Closes Will Rogers Turnpike

The Will Rogers Turnpike at the state line was closed for almost 45 minutes after a crane fell across all lanes of the turnpike just after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Westbound traffic was diverted at the state line also known as the Downstream exit and eastbound traffic on I-44 was diverted at the Miami gate of the Turnpike.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crane has been moved and the roadway reopened to traffic in both directions.

There were no reports of any injuries.
