Child Taken To Hospital After Being Hit By Car In Northwest OKC

A girl riding her bike in a northwest Oklahoma City neighborhood was hit by a car Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 3:15 p.m. along Hastings Avenue in Surrey Hills, a golf community just south of Northwest Expressway. Witnesses say the driver who struck the girl was a woman.

The child was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police are still investigating the accident.
