SWAT Team Tases Man, Takes Him Into Custody After Standoff In Norman

A brief standoff in Norman ended Thursday with one man taken into custody.

It happened at the Cottonwood Ridge Apartments located at 12th Street and Boyd Avenue.

The call went out as a man in his underwear waving a gun in the apartment complex's parking lot. When police arrived, Barry Ray Rheudasil was in an apartment.

Police and SWAT teams surrounded the apartment and tried to talk to Rheudasil. He eventually came out of his apartment, officers tased him and took him into custody.
