Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped
15 oz can pineapple chunks, drained
1½ lb pork loin, cubed
2 green peppers, chopped (can use red to add color)
14 oz can chicken broth (low sodium)
1 cup converted rice, uncooked
10 oz bottle sweet and sour sauce
Directions:
1. Place onion in a 5-quart slow cooker; top with pork, broth and sauce.
2. Cover and cook on high setting for one hour; reduce heat to low setting and cook 3½ hours.
3. Add pineapple, green peppers and rice; mix well.
4. Cover and cook on low setting 1½ more hours.
HINT: Use Slow Cooker liners to reduce the mess and easily remove to store leftovers.
