OKLAHOMA CITY - Two more groups of Oklahoma National Guard soldier will return home on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

According to the Oklahoma National Guard Office, 250 members of the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team will return from Afghanistan and Kuwait on Wednesday, March 28, and another 200 soldiers will return on Thursday, March 29.

The soldiers will arrived at the Army Aviation hanger at Will Rogers Air National Guard Base at 10 a.m. on both days.

Officials say additional ceremonies will be held for the soldiers at the same hanger on Friday and Saturday.

Nearly 3,000 Oklahoma Army National Guardsmen were deployed to Afghanistan and Kuwait last June. National Guard officials say the majority of 45th Brigade soldiers have returned to the U.S..The last group is expected to arrive in Mississippi for de-mobilization processing before the end of the month.
