Oklahoma City police have identified the motorcyclist who died in an accident in northeast Oklahoma City Tuesday.

James H. Keenan, 43, of Choctaw was killed when he crashed his motorcycle into a moving car.

It happened at Memorial Road and Princeton Lane, in front of Oklahoma Christian University. During the initial investigation, police say Keenan was heading westbound on Memorial Road and the driver of the car was heading eastbound on Memorial Road. As they both approached the stop light at Princeton Lane, police said the driver of the car made a left turn into the college on a green light, not a green arrow. Police said it appears the woman did not yield and turned in the path of Keenan.

Keenan slammed into the car and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet. The accident remains under investigation.
