STILLWATER, Oklahoma - Oklahoma State got yet another big outing from star pitcher Kat Espinosa Sunday in a pitcher's duel, shutting out the Wisconsin Badgers 1-0 to close out the Gaucho Classic II.

The junior right-hander pitched complete-game shutout for the Cowgirls, giving up just six hits and striking out eight of the 25 batters she faced in win. Cassandra Darrah was also dynamic from the circle, giving up one earned run on four hits, striking out six.

The only run of the game came in the bottom of the fourth, thanks to the base running skills of Chelsea Garcia. The senior short stop hit a two-out single, stealing second base to move into scoring position in the next at-bat.

Sammy Jo Diffendaffer followed with a single to left field, bringing Garcia home to score the game's only run, but thrown out at second to end the inning as well.

The Cowgirls will next host in-state rival Tulsa in a mid-week matchup at 7 p.m. Wednesday, before a starting conference play at 5 p.m. Friday against Kansas.
