Pedestrian Struck, Killed On Tulsa County Highway Early Friday

An unidentified man crossing state Highway 51 in far western Tulsa County is dead after he was struck by an eastbound car just before 6 a.m. Friday.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the pedestrian was wearing dark clothing and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, 26-year-old Jennifer Smith of Mannford was not hurt.

The crash happened near West 261st Street on state Highway 51 east of Mannford.

Troopers are working to identify who the man was before releasing his name.
