Driver Disappears After Crash In Northwest Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City police are searching for a driver who crashed a pickup truck in the front yards of several homes, then ran off.

Just after midnight, the truck crashed through the yards before slamming into a tree near N.W. 10th Street and Ann Arbor in northwest Oklahoma City.

Neighbors said they were awakened by a "boom" and ran outside. They discovered the wrecked truck turned on its side, but the driver was nowhere to be found. The person had run away from the scene.

One homeowner said if the truck hadn't slammed into the tree, it would have crashed into his living room.

Fortunately, no one was hurt. Police are still searching for the driver.
