Altus Man Arrested For Possession Of Child Porn

An Altus man was arrested for possession of child pornography on Monday as a result of an investigation into the online sharing of child pornography first initiated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

An Altus man was arrested for possession of child pornography on Monday as a result of an investigation into the online sharing of child pornography first initiated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

OSBI Agents and Altus Police, a member of the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested 36-year-old Brian Norvell at his Altus home, seizing numerous computer and digital items.

Police uncovered more than 100 images of child pornography on the seized items. No local children were identified in any of the images.

Norvell is currently in the Jackson County Jail. His bond was set at $100,000.
