Girl Scouts Welcome Future Member In OKC

The Girl Scouts from several different troops presented a gift basket of goodies to a future Girl Scout born at INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center on Monday in honor of the Girl Scout's 100 year anniversary.

The Girl Scouts are 100 years young this week. And to mark the organization's 100th anniversary, Girl Scout troops across the 39 counties in Western Oklahoma celebrated in many ways - from birthday parties to city proclamations.

The Girl Scouts from several different troops presented a gift basket of goodies to a future Girl Scout born at INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center on Monday.

Emma Parsons was born at 8:05 Monday morning. She weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces and was 22 inches long. Her parents, Chelsea and Ryan Parsons, were thrilled to receive the Girl Scout gift.
