Jaws of Life Used To Extract Driver In I-35 Rollover Accident

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers along with city firefighters responded to an overturned pickup just off northbound I-35 and the Hefner Rd. exit around 6:30 p.m.

Troopers say the adult male was driving too fast when he exited on Hefner causing his vehicle to roll. They say alcohol was a factor.

Firefighters used an ax to tear through the vehicle's roof and get to the driver. The man was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
