Police make an arrest in hit-and-run death of a Midwest City woman.

At approximately 7:05 p.m. on March 6th, Midwest City Police responded to the 1100 block of St. John on the report of an auto pedestrian traffic accident. Officers found an injured adult female, Lilly Kasabova, 36, and her boyfriend James Isaih Keitt, 41, both of Midwest City at the scene along with his 1997 GMC Yukon.

It appeared Kasabova had been struck by the vehicle as she walked on the west side of St. John.  She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  Keitt appeared to be intoxicated and was originally arrested on DUI charges.

Due to the victim's injures the Midwest City Police Department's Advanced Accident Investigation Team was notified and responded. During the investigation witnesses were located who had observed the suspect and victim arguing in the 7-11 parking lot, one block south of the accident at 8301 NE 10th

As the incident appeared to be domestic related the police department's Criminal Investigative Unit was notified and responded.  A short time later the victim died from blunt trauma apparently received when she was struck by the vehicle driven by Keitt.  The exact cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner's Office.

Keitt was booked into the Midwest City jail on charges of murder.  Police department investigators are working this case as a domestic related homicide and are currently speaking with witnesses and the suspect.
