Man Arrested For Running Adult Arcade House In Northwest OKC
OKLAHOMA CITY - An Oklahoma City man was arrested for operating an illegal adult arcade out of his home. It's where men were coming to pay to view pornographic videos.
According to the police report, this was part of an undercover sting by the police department vice unit and the Fire Marshal's Office to determine if there was illegal activity going on inside.
Turns out there was. Police arrested 75-year-old JD Sackett and shut down the illegal operation.
News 9 went to the home located in the 4000 block of N.W. 23rd Street. It is located two doors down from a former daycare, and right next door to a home and vet clinic. The windows at the house have been boarded up.
"When our undercover officer went in there, they were actually able to purchase for $10 an unlimited amount of viewing of pornographic videos," said Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow with the Oklahoma City Police Department.
Police said running an adult arcade like this is against city statutes.
JD Sackett is currently in the Oklahoma County jail, but is expected to be released Tuesday evening.
