Suspects In January Home Invasion Charged With Murder

The two suspects involved in the deadly home invasion in south Oklahoma City in mid-January have been charged with first-degree murder.

The two suspects involved in the deadly home invasion in south Oklahoma City in mid-January have been charged with first-degree murder.

Joshua Odith Johnson and Gerald Dwayne Jackson were both arrested for the burglary that took place on January 15 in the 7900 block of S. McKinley. During the burglary, the suspects tied up a man, Christopher Trevino, and two women in the home.

The suspects ransacked the home, taking money and jewelry. They shot Trevino twice in the back of the head before fleeing the scene. The women were not harmed.

In addition to the murder charge, the two also face charges of burglary, kidnapping, and robbery with a firearm.
