Fatal Collision Shuts Down Highway In Norman

State Highway 9 near 120th Avenue in Norman has reopened after a fatal collision shut it down for several hours Monday evening.

According to Norman Police, crews responded to the two-vehicle collision at 6:29 p.m. Monday.

Authorities confirmed a female driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash was pronounced dead at the scene. Police will not release her identity until her family has been notified.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
