Kevin Durant To Coach NBA All-Star Celebrity Game
OKLAHOMA CITY - Kevin Durant will trade in his uniform for a coaching clipboard for this year's NBA All-Star Celebrity game.
The 2012 NBA All-Star and Thunder standout will coach the East team against fellow All-Star Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic who will coach the West team.
The celebrity game will be played Friday, Feb 24 as the first big matchup of All-Star weekend.
Durant along with teammate Russell Westbrook have both been named Western Conference All-Stars this year and will take part in the All-Star game on Sunday night.
This year's celebrity game includes celebrities from TV, music and film stars like Grammy Award winner Ne-Yo(R&B/pop); Common (Just Wright); JB Smoove ("Curb Your Enthusiasm"); Vinny Guadagnino ("Jersey Shore"); Kevin Hart (Laugh At My Pain); Javier Colon ("The Voice"); Drew and Jonathan Scott ("Property Brothers"); Jesse Williams ("Grey's Anatomy"); NBA Legends Mitch Richmond (six-time NBA All-Star), Penny Hardaway (four-time NBA All-Star), and Nick Anderson (NBA legend); 2011 WNBA MVP Tamika Catchings (WNBA, Indiana Fever); and Doug Gottlieb (ESPN, "The Doug Gottlieb Show").
The 61st NBA All-Star game will tipoff Sunday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. CST.
