Troopers Investigate Fatal One-Vehicle Crash In McClain County

A one-vehicle collision in McClain County claimed the life of one person Tuesday night, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

It happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35, at Mile Marker 97 near Purcell. Troopers said a truck carrying rocks and driven by the victim ran off the roadway at the around 8 p.m. Tuesday. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The identity of the victim has not been released. The cause of the collision is still under the investigation of Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
