Lawton's D.J. Ward Named to Rivals 100

Lawton defensive D.J. Ward is the only Oklahoma player named in the newly-released Rivals 100, listing the top recruits in the 2013 recruiting class.

The 6-foot-3, 245-pound defensive end came in at No. 99 on the list, but his placement makes him the top recruit in the state of Oklahoma for the time being. In his sophomore and junior seasons, Ward proved himself to be one of the premier edge rushers in the state, racking up 20 sacks over two seasons, to go along with 149 total tackles in two seasons.

Ward already has eight FBS scholarship offers, including both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, with nearly a full year left before having to make a final decision.
