A woman told police she was sexually assaulted on Monday, February 6, by a man who surprised her in the backyard of her northwest Oklahoma City home.

The woman had just let her dogs out in the 2800 block of N.W. 12th Street, when the man jumped her fence and entered her yard. She said as she ran back into her house, the man grabbed her. He forced her inside and raped her.

The woman described the man as white and in his early to mid 20s. He stood approximately 6 feet tall, and had a thin build. He was also wearing a black baseball cap turned backward, and the victim was able to see he had black curly hair.

The woman said her attacker's two front teeth were also heavily stained and he smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.

Police used the woman's description to create a composite sketch of the suspect. Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
