After trading leads in the first half, Kansas State held a seven-point lead at halftime and edged the Cowboys 66-58 to send OSU to its fifth conference loss of the season.

Kansas State came out of the locker room and built itself a 40-28 lead three minutes into the half, with eight of their nine points coming in the painted area.

Still trailing by 12 points eight minutes later, Oklahoma State moved to close the gap late in the game. With less than five minutes left to play, Brian Williams got position down low and converted on a dunk that sparked an 11-2 run, with five coming from Keiton Page and four from Markel Brown, cutting the lead to 57-53 with 2:37 on the clock.

Just 40 seconds later, Page knocked down a three-pointer from the corner to make it a one-possession deficit with two minutes left to play.

However, that's when the offense dried up for the Cowboys, while the Wildcats converted on seven of their 10 free throw attempts on their way to the win.

Page struggled from the floor, hitting four of his 17 attempts, but still managed to finish with a game-high 17 points. Markel Brown added 14 points and six rebounds, but no other Oklahoma State player managed more than nine.

Rodney McGruder and Angel Rodriguez set the pace for the Wildcats, scoring 14 points each, while Jamar Samuels finished the game with a double-double, turning in 12 points and 12 boards in the win.

Oklahoma State will continue its back-to-back home games Wednesday, with a 6:30 p.m. matchup against the Missouri Tigers.
