My 2 Cents: Breastfeeding Mom Looking For A Fight?

It seems obvious to me the breast-feeding mom near Houston was looking for a fight when she plopped down on the floor of a Target store and started nursing her baby, under a blanket.

Yes, of course breast-feeding is completely natural, and I support it, now that we have that out of the way, I also think she was wrong.

Let me ask you, would it be appropriate if I just plopped down on the floor of Target, put my toddler on my lap and fed him or her a sack lunch right in the middle of the store? Completely natural, not appropriate.

The mom admits the store employees offered her a changing room to nurse her baby in private, but she refused. Why would she do that, if not looking to make some sort of statement?

Completely natural I get it, but you know there are a lot of natural bodily functions that are a little awkward.

Most nursing mothers are very discreet about it, but for those who aren't you'll have to accept the fact that seeing an exposed female breast in public is still a little awkward for most people.

People on both sides of the issue could be a little more tolerant of each other.
