Christmas Day Earthquake Shakes Central Oklahoma

The U.S.G.S. says a 3.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded about 22 miles northeast of Shawnee.

Some central Oklahomans were awaken by a Christmas Day earthquake Sunday, December 25, 2011.

The U.S.G.S. says a 3.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded about 22 miles northeast of Shawnee.

The 8:10 a.m. quake was centered near Cromwell in Seminole County.

There have been no reports of any damage from the earthquake. It was just over 6 miles deep.
